St. John’s University School of Law has announced a new LL.M. Program in U.S. Legal Studies for Foreign Law School Graduates. The twenty-four credit program, designed for foreign-trained attorneys and jurists, will begin in the Fall of 2008. Students enrolled in the program will take two required courses in American Legal Research and Writing and Introduction to American Law and then be able to tailor a program around their needs and interests. The LL.M. Program allows students to be eligible for applying to the New York Bar Examination, thus providing them with the option of practicing law in the United States or their home countries. The program has been accredited by The Accreditation Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section on Legal Education and Admission to the Bar. Rolling admissions to the program will begin this Fall. For additional information, Click Here.
